Dhruv Agro Industry a dopts 10 underprivileged farmers in each village every year, providing them with fertilizers, seeds, and guidance on cost-effective agricultural practices. This support has led to a doubling of their crop yields, significantly improving their livelihoods. To date, 60 farmers across 6 villages have experienced notable economic growth. During the summer months, when employment is scarce, Dhruv Agro collaborates with rural self-help groups, guiding women to collect high-quality neem and purchasing it to provide financial assistance. The company employs 24 full-time workers year-round and hires 15 seasonal laborers during peak agricultural periods. Even during the three-month shutdown caused by the pandemic, Dhruv Agro maintained its commitment to its workforce, ensuring no layoffs or salary cuts. This unwavering dedication earned recognition from various media outlets for its responsible corporate practices.

About the Founder

Dr. Dnyaneshwar Salunkhe

Dr. Dnyaneshwar Salunkhe is the visionary founder of Dhruv Agro Industries. With an M.Sc. in Agro Chemicals and Pesticides and a Ph.D. in Chemistry, he combines academic expertise and practical experience to develop sustainable, natural agro products. Driven by his passion for promoting environmentally friendly farming practices, he founded the company in 2013, focusing on providing innovative solutions like bio-botanical pesticides, bio-fertilizers, organic liquid manure, and plant growth promoters to improve soil fertility and crop yield.

Under his leadership, Dhruv Agro Industries has earned a reputation as a trusted supplier in the agro sector, catering to both B2B and B2C markets. His efforts have contributed to the company’s national recognition, including receiving the India-5000 Best MSME Award in 2020 for quality and excellence. Dr. Salunkhe’s dedication to sustainable agriculture and his vision for empowering farmers continue to drive the company’s success and growth in key regions across India.
